“ Latte is nice. We ordered a medium size but it's a surprisingly large cup. The milk is a bit watery tho--not so much foam. (Maybe it's becauce of the size). The coffee is not bitter but also not so strong. Everything croissant is nice. The taste is what you can expect for "everything" seasoning. Asked for toast it but didn't expect they use the press machine and not an oven. Croissant becomes croffle but no nice strips. The staff is very friendly. There was a long line short after we ordered. Many ppl were using laptops. The seats upstairs were cozy style and not standard tables/chairs. The music and the vibe is quite good. Feel like can stay here the whole morning or afternoon. ”

“ I don't know how they do it, but their vanilla lattes are incredibly yummy, as are their baked goods (which are generously sized, as well). (I suspect the latte quality is about good beans/roasting, combined with an unusually generous use of vanilla syrup.) The ambiance is relaxed and social, and the location is very bright. They have long tables, as well as small ones, so you can choose how social or private your time here will be. Street parking is easy and plentiful, on Alberni, though it runs 6/hr. (obably the reason it's so easy to find). This place offers great value for the price, if parking is excluded. ”

“ The hot chocolate was very nice and the staff friendly. The sandwiches are premade so set expectations accordingly. The bacon and egg bagel I had was actually very nice and warmed well so for a premade it was solid. There’s construction on the outside but they’re still open! ”
“ It’s a beautiful cafe with great coffee with the distinctive JJ Bean taste. I prefer their hot coffee as I find their cold coffee to contain too much ice. Unlike some cafes, their wifi works in the patio too. Most of the baristas are friendly and take the effort to ensure your drink is well presented ”
“ We tried both latte and a cappuccino. Both were very good. They serve them in a nice white mug. They have cute sitting area outside and plenty of tables inside. They also have a second floor. It was service with a smile. We definitely planning to go back. ”
“ My favourite JJ Bean location. All the coffees are good and don't be afraid to ask the baristas here tough coffee questions because they usually don't disappoint. The triangular chairs are ridiculously comfortable and if you have a chocolate and zucchini muffin you won't regret it ”
